Dessert(ations) is a (very) small business operated by Amy McKinnon in Montréal, Quebec.

While working on her MA in Media Studies at Concordia University, Amy discovered that baking soothed her overstressed, bulging, critical brain brimming with communications, feminist, and political economy theories. With a suddenly busier potluck and party schedule and lots of great feedback on her desserts, Amy decided to maintain her sanity while writing her thesis by baking for others on the side.

While her specialty is cupcakes - both regular and gooey filled ones - Amy also makes layered cakes of all sizes, buttery scones, cookies, gluten-free, and vegan (cup)cakes!
